How long does the teeth whitening take?
Each professional whitening session is 30 minutes and can even be done right before tanning! You can even do this treatment at home with our mobile teeth whitening option. During your appointment, prescription strength gel is applied to the enamel, avoiding the gums and lips. Results are instant, lightening teeth 2-4 shades whiter each session and continue to develop over 24 hours post session.
Is there any prep or aftercare with teeth whitening?
You should brush your teeth before your session and eat, as you will want to only consume water after for up to two hours after your appointment. Dark staining foods such as red pasta sauces, wine and coffee should be avoided for 24h after your treatment as teeth are continuing to brighten.
How often can you whiten your teeth?
Depending on how white you want your teeth and how stained they are (which depends on how much coffee and red wine you drink ect.) you can start with 2 sessions a month or do a few back to back sessions for extra whitening power. We will give you a consultation and put together a plan that will work best for you. Each session comes with a touch up kit to take home and continue to use.
What does the whitening gel taste like?
Fresh, minty and lightly sweet! The whitening gel will not make much contact with your tongue (it's ok if it does) so you likely won't notice a taste to the gel at all.
What product do you use for teeth whitening?
Our gel is different from other whitening options in several ways: it’s safe on enamel, protects gums, causes little to no-sensitivity, is a registered natural health product and on top of all that, it’s more cost-effective.
What is your cancelation policy?
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee. Cancelations and rescheduled appointments within 24 hours of originally scheduled time are subject to up to 100% of the full non-discounted service price. No shows will be charged the full-service price automatically with the card on file. We reserve your appointment time specifically for you and you only as we can only see one client at a time. When you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hour notice we are unable to fill your reserved time. Please make sure you can commit to your appointment time before booking with us. What is your late policy?
Clients should plan extra time to find parking and the building entrance. Please arrive 5 minutes early and wait in the lobby, we will be down to meet you as soon as the client before your appointment is finished. Clients who arrive more than 5 minutes late will be charged a $10 late fee and may not be able to be seen if there is another appointment booked after theirs. Appointments are only 15 minutes long so arriving early ensures we can run on time for each appointment, our goal is avoid keeping anyone waiting past their appointment start time! Please be sure you can make your appointment time when booking.
